3-0 winners against Ravenna during the weekend, the Padova team is in great spirit as it starts turning its attention to the next encounter against Monza, scheduled on Sunday 6 December away from home.
“The game against Monza will be a tricky one – said coach Valerio Baldovin – But it’s true they have a different level compared to teams like Modena or Civitanova. But we’ll just have to focus on playing some good volleyball. If we play as focused as against Romagna, we’ll definitely have our chance”.
In the meantime, the US middle blocker Averill is on the up. He scored 4 aces in the last round, the best of the whole SuperLega last weekend. He is also the second best scorer of the Padova team with 77 points, behind outside hitter Stefano Giannotti (112).
