On Saturday 26 September, Milan will make its first outing in its new home, in the PalaBorsini arena in Castellanza. They will take on Verona inside the 36th Mimmo Bellomo trophy which involves four feminine teams (Busto Arsizio, Bergamo, Novara and Settimo Torinese).
“Even if they are missing some starters Verona is already a good team – said assistant coach Henk Jan Held – This is a great test to start with to see where we’re at. It’s still early days, I think the more we play against quality opponents the more we will be able to understand where to work on the most to get better”.
