Many certitudes and one worry

Usually when a top division team meets a second division team, the one from the level above wins it. And it was not different when Brescia met Piacenza. But there was a lot of positive things, the team is getting more and more certitudes of themselves as the accumulate experience. And in spite of the 4-0 defeat, Brescia made it very hard for Piacenza, it was even 18-15 up in the first set. There are obviously a lot to work on, like avoiding the seven missed serves of the second set, but the overall impression is that the team is ahead of schedule in its pre-season work. Among all the positive, there was however a worry for the club. Emanuele Rodella was troubled by knee pain a few days ago and today things got worse. The medical staff is already at work to see to this problem.
