Treia starts its off-season market with a bang. The club signed one of the strongest spikers in the world in the name of Osmany Juantorena. Born in Santiago di Cuba (1985) but with the Italian passport, he played his last two seasons at Halkbank Ankara in Turkey, winning the league title in 2014 and the Turkish cup twice. He had previously played in Italy for four years with Trento, where he won one trophy after another: two league titles in 2011 and 2013, three Italian cups (2010, 2012, 2013), two Champions Leaue (2010-2011), one Italian SuperCup in 2011 and four World Club championships from 2009 to 2012.

They really wanted me and I took this great opportunity on the bounce. I can’t wait to get started. I want to enjoy myself and keep winning trophies”.
