An excellent draw for Reggio Emilia in the house of Cantù. The team had a quality performance and keeps making progress as they prepare for their league debut on October 25 against Tuscania. Beaten by Brescia last week, coach Cantagalli had not been able to use half the team because of physical problems. This time, Cetrullo stole the headlines with 23 points, the Australian Tom Douglas Powell made his debut, while Dolfo and Tondo had positive games too.

“The Brescia game does not really matter to me because I could not use a lot of my players – said coach Cantagalli – Let’s say this was our real debut game. We played decent volleyball, with ups and downs but that’s normal to have things to work on. That was a honourable draw against an excellent opponent”.
