Potenza Picena secured third place in the table thanks to a tie-break victory over Vibo Valentia. There are two games left to play and Potenza is now five points from the leaders Ortona, and just three from second place Sora. However, the latter would be guaranteed of that second place with a three-point win in its next home game against Brescia.

We are working to handle better the situations in which we’re in the lead, but yesterday again we faded once we were 2-0 up. There are no doubts my boys are strong and have talent, the problem lies in the fact there cannot be any distractions. We’ll give everything we have in the last two games but moving above Sora is almost impossible. In the playoffs we’ll need to play with the free spirits that brought us where we are”.
