The second game which coincided with the derby against the young prospects of Club Italia brought Civita Castellana its first three points of the season. The guests took the early initiatives and the first set but lost their way afterwards.
“I am thrilled with this win because the boys really deserved it – said coach Spanakis – We’ve been going through some difficulties, with injuries and poor results. We’ve been missing players and everybody’s been working even harder to make up for this situation. I’ve seen that spirit which was lacking in the last road game and in the first two sets in Mondovì. This is the way we have to play if we want to have a good season in this league”.
