Ludovico Dolfo is one of the main purchases of the summer. Born in June 1989 in Treviso, the spiker played volleyball very early and went through all the youth ranks of the club of his home town until he made his debut in the first team in 2008-09. Two years in Loreto followed (A1 and A2), then he played for Belluno, Castellana Grotte, and in the past two years at Città di Castello. Dolfo has a past in the Italian national team junior, finishing top scorer and best spiker of the European Championships 2008 in Brno and he won a bronze medal in the Mediterranean Games with the Under 23.
“Cantagalli was the assistant coach of the national team in Brno – explained Dolfo – We have always had a great relationship and mutual respect. He’s always wanted me, we went our separate ways for a while but now came this great opportunity. Having a champion like him as coach is a privilege”.
