A traditional event of Castellana’s pre-season is coming closer. Following the 3-0 defeat against the SuperLega team of Molfetta on Friday (25-16, 15-7 and 25-17) with an unusual second set played to 15, the team prepares for the De Giorgio memorial to take place in Alberobello on Sunday 4 October. On the occasion, Castellana will play a derby against Alessano. The club’s next commitment will be a tournament organised in Ortona on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October. Perugia versus Castellana Grotte, and Ortona versus Molfetta will be the two semi-finals.
