The German Railways (DB) in collaboration with the Austrian Railways (ÖBB) and Calzedonia Verona announced they reached a sponsorship agreement for the Calzedonia volley camp, to take place in Bressanone from June 28 to July 1. The kids and the coaches will be able to take the DB-ÖBB EuroCity train from Verona to reach the destination of the camp and back.
Meanwhile, three Verona stars will play in the Serbia versus Italy games this weekend in the World League. Simone Anzani for Italy, Uros Kovacevic and Sasha Starovic for Serbia. Anzani will try to keep up the good work in this crucial double header as he already tallied 17 blocks. He is currently tied in second place with the Russian Ashchev behind Moussavi from Iran (22 blocks). As for Taylor Sander, he will be in Kalingrad with the US team to face Russia.
