In the last one of 2015, Cantù was playing host to Civita Castellana, on his first experience at this level but straight in third place. However, the strong outside hitter Da Silva did not take part in the warm up and without the top scorer of the league, the Globo Scarabeo team knew it was going to be difficult.
“It’s been very hard, we have been inconsistent and they have one of the best digs in the league– said coach Della Rosa as Cantù clinched it in the tie-break – We did well at the net in the sets we won and our serve was sharp, but when they changed their game we struggled to adapt”.
