In order to go through, Grbic’s men need another win, on any score. But the Pols will come keen to turn things around and try to improve on the third place their obtained last season.
Piacenza will be in Russia on Thursday to take on the giants of Zenit Kazan, who are hot favourite following their sweep in the first leg in Italy. The Russians just need two sets to go through.
Finally, Treia will play in front of 13.000 fans in the Atlas arena in Lodz, Poland. Beaten 3-0 in the first leg in Civitanova, Giuliani’s men need a 3-0 or 3-1 win against Belchatow to earn the right to play a golden set to 15.
