Last Sunday, Sora overcame Vibo Valentia in the fifth set in a great atmosphere at the PalaGlobo arena. A valuable win that allowed Sora to stay firmly in second place behind Ortona and with a four-point advantage on Potenza Picena. Coach Fabio Soli said he was happy with the result but not so much with the level of play.
“I am happy because we obtained a very important result despite the fact the game had not started the way we wanted – he explained – I have always said Vibo was a great team, not only made of big names but of players who can play excellent volleyball. And they proved it once again on our court on Sunday. As far as we’re concerned, I am convinced we have not played as well as we could in position 4, and we can’t afford to do that if we want to aim high. Our level of play dropped, we have been nervous and we lacked patience, which are characteristics that had never been associated with us until now. This is an aspect I will talk to the boys about and which we have to sort out immediately to be the team we usually are, courageous and clinical”.
