The Champions League has reached the knock out stage and on Wednesday night, Treia will host the Polish champions of Belchatow in the playoffs 12 first leg. The winner of this double header will take on the winner of Perugia against Jastrzebski Wegiel, the other Polish team.
“In those kind of games, we need a seventh player that supports us during the whole game – said middle blocker Podrascanin ahead of the clash against Belchatow, 8 times Polish champion in the last ten years – This is an important moment of the season for our fans and obviously for the players. We really want to do something special in the Champions League. This will definitely be the most important game of our season so far, and our goal is to get a good start and put them under pressure in order to have our chance in the return leg in Poland. We know they are one of the best teams in Europe, so this will be an opportunity to show what we can do and how much we want to win”.
