The cup final four is behind us and now Trento is off to Romania where it will play in the CEV Cup quarter-finals first leg against Craiova. Trento had the better of Novi Sad in the 16th of finals, while they knocked out Maccabi Tel Aviv in the previous round.
“This is a tough game, one we couldn’t underestimate before the intense cup period, and therefore even less now that we played three games in a week – explained coach Radostin Stoytchev – The CEV Cup is getting more and more difficult and having to face another road game after our trip to Bologna is not helping. Having said that, we’ll go to Romania to get a positive result because in this kind of competition you can’t afford to get any game wrong”.
