The Cantù fans have already noticed this new face last Sunday when the club played against Vibo Valentia. Indeed, Cantù signed Riccardo Spairani. In order to make up for Dario Monguzzi’s injury and to increase the intensity level in training before the playoffs, Cantù brought in the experienced middle blocker. “I kind of owed President Molteni to join Cantù one day – said Spairani – In the years I played at Caronno in B1 division, he has always try to sign me but I chose to stay closer to home. This is a big challenge for me, to see what can I do at this level of competition”. Spairani already made his debut in the friendly game played yesterday with Bergamo and won 3-1(26-24, 25-23, 25-22, 24-26).
