Gianlorenzo Blengini is the new Treia head coach. The club signed the one that had put the end word to Treia’s season in the playoffs quarter-finals game 3 with Latina. Blengini is also the Italian national team assistant coach. He will be alongside coach Berruto for the World League which will begin on Friday 29 in Australia.
“I want to thank to club for the faith they show in me – said the new Treia coach – It feels great to be part of such an important club. This is without a doubt a great opportunity in my career. I am extremely excited, thrilled. Everything went so fast, basically in a couple of minutes, I can’t seem to find the words to describe my feelings”.
Blengini, who signed a two-year deal, won the Italian Cup A2 and reach the playoffs final in 2011 with Santa Croce, then he helped Vibo reach the playoffs twice before making history at Latina by bringing the club to its first playoffs semi-final.
