Bittersweet tournament victory

Bittersweet victory in the Sant’Antioco tournament for Brescia. The team played some top quality volleyball with a terrific captain Tiberti and some nice outings from the youngsters Fusco, Sorlini, Cruz Statuto and Turla, but the team lost outside hitter Bisi on a knee injury. A big blow for Brescia as he had been superb throughout this pre-season. Besides, starting middle blocker Andrea Agnellini could not play because of back pains he’s been suffering for a few weeks, while spiker Rodella is still struggling with his knee. The tournament was won but the overall situation of the roster just two weeks from the start of the season is a bit worrying.
