Ricci’s men are coming off back to back road tie-break wins in Reggio Emilia and Brescia, and now they entertain the league leaders of Ortona. The latter stands three points above Corigliano in the league table. Both teams will take part in the Italian Cup final four next week.
“We know Ortona is a well-prepared team – said Giacomo Tomasello – They have some excellent players and play solid volleyball. We’re getting to a stage of the season in which everybody fights for big points to reach goals for which they have played all season. So it will be tough for us to impose our game on the leaders. But we will do everything possible to give our superb fans a good game and try to take some important points”.
