Milan’s middle blocker Aimone Alletti, was named Best Server for the 2014-15 season. He will receive his award on November 1 when Milan plays host to Perugia in the PalaBorsani arena of Castellanza.
“To be honest, during the year I never even realised I was in the top positions – said Alletti – I am glad to receive this award, this is the result of hard work in the gym. Indeed, last year I managed to balance my serve because I had always had percentages of mistakes similar to the ones of jump spin serve rather than my jump floater. I am glad I managed to cut down on the mistakes and remain effective at the same time”.
