A new challenge has arisen on June 16 for Verona’s middle blocker Simone Anzani: he joined the Italian national team to prepare for the coming double header against Iran on Friday and Sunday.
“This is a special feeling – said Anzani – This is my full debut with the Italian team senior. I am extremely proud to be in the World League and extremely excited. Being in this group which is having a great season is extremely gratifying, I am obviously very happy”.
