After months of words, expectations, fears and dreams, the noise of the first spikes resounded in the PalaBanca arena, and there was a special welcoming from the fans. The first friendly against Brescia (A2) had to be without Robert Page, who injured his ankle 24 hours before. Ter Horst played outside hitter.
“It was great the way the fans welcomed us – said coach Radici – A really nice surprise. We tried to do our best, aware of where we’re at in our preparation. We need to find our understanding, the will to do well is certainly not lacking and the performance in dig proved it. We still have time to work on the rest, but the attitude is excellent, I am extremely satisfied with the boys”.
