Potenza made up for the lost time in the past two rounds by taking six consecutive points. The last three came in a quick sweep of the Sicilians of Brolo despite the fact the team was without spiker Marco Lipparini.
“Our opponent are going through difficult times – said Dario Berni – They could not line up their new spiker but credit to us for playing a good game. We managed to maintain a good level of play during the whole encounter. This was a long trip and I was nervous, but I gave my best when I got in (three consecutive points to seal the set). I always try to give it all and I think I improved since my arrival in Potenza”.
