Treia signed Konstantin Shumov. Born in 1985 in Moscow, Russia, the middle blocker has however the Finnish nationality. He is currently playing in the World Championships in Poland. Shumov has already played in Italy, back in 2006 with Isernia in the Serie A2, then he wore the Taranto shirt in the A1 before moving to Vibo Valentia and then Loreto, where he was the best blocker of the league with 101. The following two seasons, he played for Monza before taking on a new challenge in Germany with Unterhaching.
“I am extremely motivated – said SHumov – Joining such a fantastic club is like winning the lottery for me. I am this opportunity to play in Italy again and I want to make the most of it. I have always admired this club from the other side of the net and now I’ll be part of it, this is really great”.
