A press conference took place to officially unveil coach Radostin Stoytchev as the new head coach. While 3500 fans were in Trento to watch the friendly game between Italy and Brazil, many of them moved to the city center to welcome back Stoytchev.
“This is a special day – said Stoytchev who’s as determined as ever – I am thankful to the club for bringing me back home. Today is the start of a new era, and it will have a meaning only if we can bring more successful results at the highest level. When I was in Turkey last year, I followed every single game of Trento, so it’s like I never went away. But the team will be much different, especially considering the fact we’ll have a new setter. And when you change the setter, you have to reorganize it all. We’ll therefore have to work very hard, we won’t be the favourites but we want to reach the top very quickly, and win something”.
