Trentino’s coaching staff was completed with the arrival of Dario Simoni who will be the assistant of Radostin Stoychev. Simoni is already an important name in Italian volleyball and his experience could turn out to be crucial for the club. He has coached in the serie A1, as head coach or assistant, for 12 years and also took part in European cups. In 2008, he won the CEV Cup as Serniotti’s assistant in Roma, while he went very close to win the CEV Cup and Challenge cup with Latina.

“It’s not been difficult to decide to join Trentino – said Simoni – I have always considered it to be a great club, particularly professional, and these are characteristics that perfectly fit in with my mentality and the way I perceive volleyball. As a coach, I have always dreamt of working one day in Trento, so I am thrilled to have this opportunity now”.
