Latina makes its first move in the middle with the addition of Andrea Semezato. Experienced middle blocker, he helped Perugia to the league final last season. He came up in Treviso’s youth academy and won the gold medal at the European Championships Juniors 200. He has now 29 caps with the Italian national team and took part in the World Championships 2006.
“I have chosen Latina because I’ve seen they were building an excellent team – said Semenzato – In my opinion, there will be an interesting squad. This is important after a two-year spell in Perugia in crescendo which led to the league final. These are the projects that gives you great satisfaction”.
