Massimiliano Di Franco is much more than a great volleyball star. The middle blocker, who took part in 15 Serie A1 championships, is above all a great person who managed to re-invent himself many times during the course of his life without ever giving up volleyball. The 36-year old from Sicily represents another superb signing for Azzio Santini. Di Franco came up in Treviso’s youth ranks, he won one league title and one Cev Cup, and he was the best blocker in 2003-04. Outside of the court, Max took part in the International Sport Film Festival with a short film called “The boy who dreams”, which is about his own life.
