Beaten yesterday night by Città di Castello, Verona moves on and focuses on the coming fixture: the Italian quarter-final in Perugia on Wednesday night. Funnily enough, the following league game will be there too.
“There’s not much positive to take out of the last game, maybe a little bit of the first and second set put together – said Anzani – We had trained well during the week and were convinced we would have had a different performance. That one went wrong but we have to focus on Wednesday’s game. It would have been better to get to the cup quarter-final with a win but let’s leave it behind us. Perugia’s game is our target of the year, we’ll play for a place in the Final Four”.
