Milan lands in the Serie A1. The northern club bought Vibo Valentia’s rights and will be in the elite of Italian volleyball in 2014-15. They will host their home encounters in the PalaLido arena, while training will remain in the Pavesi center. “The city of Milan is back in the A1 and we are happy and proud of this” said the Milan president Carlos Rasores.

“This has been a very difficult decision to make but inevitable – said the Vibo president Pippo Callipo – We were forced to do so for the same reason we talked about at the end of last season. This is the end of an era but that does not take away all the great memories and emotions. And we remain proud to have represented our region at the highest level for many years”.
