Potenza can’t seem to be able to do it against the teams from the Lombardy region. They were swept by Milan at home as they could not stop spiker Milan Bencz, top scorer with 17 points. Matteo Bolla was able to take part for Potenza but only played one set as he’s not hundred percent fit yet.

“We’re disappointed with the defeat – said setter Riccardo Pinelli – But even more with the fact we can’t reproduce during games what we work on in training. We work our socks off during the week and we see progress in every area, but in the games we can’t seem to make certain plays. This is frustrating to touch so many balls at the net but then fail to rebuild from the dig. We could have won the second set too but we started off from a 0-6 deficit. We’ll do the best we can in Ortona in the last regular season game”.
