A week full of big news at Piacenza. First the arrival of the setters, Vermiglio and Rodrigues, then the announcement of coach Radici and Massari in position 4, and now it’s time to take care of the middle blockers: Indeed, the club just signed Aimone Alletti. Born in 1988, 207cm tall, has been a key figure in his last two clubs, Perugia and Cuneo, and there’s no doubt he will be important for Piacenza too. Alletti’s career had begun in the youth ranks of Piacenza in 2005-06, year in which he already obtained a couple of calls in the first team. Cuneo, Crema (A2), Segrate (A2) and Perugia are the other clubs he played for on his way back to Piacenza.
“Now we have all the players that came up in the Piacenza accademy back – underlined President Molinaroli – Just like for Massari, we’re happy to be able to count on another talented youngster, which has greatly improved its game while he was away. He has become a real professional thanks to the effort he has put in and the determination he has”.
