The first new face for Molfetta is Tsimafei Zhukouski. Born in 1989, the 25-year-old is the captain of the Croatian national team. He was originally Byelorussian but got the Croatian citizenship. The setter won three league titles and two Croatian cups in four years spent at Mladost Zagreb before moving to Italy and San Giustino in 2010-11. Monza and Ravenna were his next stop and after a season in Germany with Unterhaching he’s back in Italy. In 2013, Tsimo won the European League with Croatia and was named best server. He’s an all-around player with the physical attributes of a gladiator.
