The strong setter Riccardo Pinelli, moves from Potenza Picena to Matera. The special feeling he has in the middle game makes him a quite unpredictable player. Despite his young age (born 1991), he has already lived some intense experiences, first with the qualifications to the European Championships 2010 with the Italian national team juniors, and then with some exciting victories in the A1 against the likes of Macerata and Trento.
“I think the project to build on young players who have experience is solid and ambitious – said Pinelli – I am extremely motivated. The club had already impressed me as opponent for its organization and the atmosphere there is in their arena. I am convinced that by keeping Luis Fernando and with the addition of strong players like Bortolozzo and Lo Bianco, the team will do fine”.
