The press conference to unveil Jacopo Massari as new Piacenza player was special, different from any other. The spiker born in 1988 had indeed already worn the Piacenza shirt for five years from 2007 to 2012 before moving to Città di Castello.
“I am really thrilled to be back at Piacenza – said the spiker – I grew up in this club and I became a volleyball player here. Coming back to Piacenza, at home, makes me proud, but I also feel a touch or pressure and responsibility. After two years in Città di Castello, I now have to prove I can be a starter here”.
