There was not only the World League in the weekend with Italy’s double over Brazil, but also the qualifications for the European Championships 2015, to take place in Bulgaria and Italy.

Bartosz Kurek and Poland finished top of their group and qualified. They lost the opening game 3-2 against the hosts Slovenia but won the two following encounters against Latvia and Macedonia, both on a 3-0 score. In the first phase played the previous weekend, Poland had already beaten all three opponents. Poland will therefore join in the European Championships 2015 the hosts Italy and Bulgaria, Russia, Serbia, France, Germany and Belgium, all qualified thanks to their position obtained in the edition 2013.
