Vibo Valentia keeps working hard during the off-season. After the renewal of Forni, another important player commits his future to the club: Mauro Gavotto. Born in 1979, he was one of the best outside hitters in last season’s Serie A1. He finished seventh in the scoring charts with 327 points and has definitely the quality to make the difference in the A2.
“I think staying at Vibo is the best possible decision I could have taken, and my family immediately agreed with my wish – said Gavotto – We all settled in very well in Calabria. It won’t be easy to go back in the A2 after so many years but I am extremely motivated to do well and the club is putting together a competitive team”.
