Following the announcement of Radostin Stoytchev’s come back as head coach, Trento completed its first signing: outside hitter Martin Nemec. The Slovakian spent last season in Romania with Tomis Constanta, with which he took part in the Champions League. Martin, who will turn 30 at the end of July, will be one of Trento’s main offensive weapons this season as he accumulated valuable experience around the world in his 8-year career. He played in france, Turkey, Korea, and Italy (with Perugia and Città di Castello). Nemec is not a new name to Trento. Indeed, Richard, his uncle and middle blocker who played for the club in 2006-07.
“When my agent told me about Trento’s offer, I asked him to seal the deal as quickly as he could – explained Nemec – I told him not to take anybody else into consideration. I heard so much good about Trento, especially from my uncle Richard and Stokr, who I consider my best friend”.
