The first ace of the game came during the warm up when the Macerata owner Fabio Gulinelli announced he would give all the takings of the game (36.730) to the Caritas, which will then hand it to the family in needs of the area.

Macerata got back in front in the series thanks to a 3-0 victory over Perugia in the final game 3. Giuliani’s boys will now have two opportunities to seal the deal and become Italian champions. We also managed to contain their spikers, these are the situations on which we will focus in training before game 4. We could see the determination of the boys in dig, the game started with stunning defensive plays, which I think were very much appreciated by the crowd. We’re 2-1 ahead, now we’ll need to bring that level of volleyball in Perugia, to put pressure on them. This will be their last chance, while this will be our first match ball”.
