Playoffs for fifth place Serie A1 UnipolSai
Final on Wednesday night
Cuneo and Ravenna will clash in the final of the playoffs for fifth place. The winner will take part in the challenge Cup 2014-15. They respectively had the better of Vibo Valentia and Verona in the quarters, before disposing of Città di Castello and Modena in the semis. None of the two clubs have ever participated in the Challenge Cup before. Four Italian teams have won it since its creation in 2007: Mondea (2008), Perugia (2010), Macerata (2011) and Piacenza (2013).
