Respectively 8th and 9th in the table, Castellana Grotte and Potenza Picena made the most of their home court advantage to take the lead in their 8th of finals series against Corigliano (10^th) and Brolo (11^th). They will have a chance to go through to the quarters in the return leg away from home. If any of the two teams was to lose, they would play a decider back home.
