Playoffs 2013/2014
New schedule after upteenth modification of international planning
Due to yet another change in the planning from the FIVB and CEV, the Italian Volleyball League was forced to establish with the clubs a new schedule for the post-season.
League playoffs
Quarter-final series to start on Thursday March 27.
Playoff 5th place
The formula changes. Quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played with home/away games (with Golden set). The winner will take part in the Challenge Cup next season.
A2 playoffs
Some changes in the Serie A2 playoffs too: Only if two of the following three (Monza, Matera, Milan) qualify, the final will be played in the best of three encounters.

Playoffs for 5th place 2013/2014
From April 6 to April 30, the final could be played in one single game or home/away game. The best classified team at the end of the regular season will host the return leg in the quarters, semis and final.
