The owner Fabio Giulianelli had already made the announcement after the league semi-final game 3 against Modena, which had Macerata qualified in the final: Giuliani would stay. It is now official as the head coach signed a new two-year contract. Next season will therefore be his fourth at the club. So far, he has won two league titles and one Italian Super Cup.

“I am very happy – said Giuliani – I have the opportunity to coach a top level team and stay very close to home. I also want to say how honored and proud I am to be able to keep working in a club composed of people for whom I have the maximum respect outside of the court too”.
