Ortona’s Edgardo Ceccoli qualified for the Beach Volley World Championships Under 17, which will take place in Acapulco, Mexico. With his teammate Andrea Marcotullio, they finished tenth in the decisive stage in Portugal.
“I expected to do better but the important thing is that we reached our goal – said Ceccoli – This tournament has definitely helped me to get better and find further motivation to improve my game. I will take part in camps in Roma to prepare for the event and then I’ll try to prove I am worth wearing the shirt that will represent Italy”.
