“In the first two sets, the team expressed most of its potential to try to turn things around against a top quality opponent – explained coach Andrea Radici – But there was something missing at the end of the sets. In the first, it was down to Vettori’s class on the serve and a bit of luck on their part. A net and a ball falling just in for one centimeter hurt us at the end of the second too, while the lead and momentum was all Piacenza in the third. But this was a positive performance, we played with pride, we proved we could play good volleyball in any given situation”.
