Having gotten rid of Vibo Valentia in the quarter-finals of the playoffs for fifth place, Cuneo is getting ready to face the semi-final series against Città di Castello. The latter knocked out Molfetta in the previous round. The tie will be played with a home and away game and a golden set if needed.
“We’ll travel to Castello to try to get into the final, which is very important for us – said Javier Gonzalez – We have made it this far and really want to go all the way. We beat them twice in the regular season but we know it does not mean anything”.
