16 nations and 28 teams will be represented in the Champions League 2014-15. The Italian teams taking part will be the champion Macerata, the cup winner Piacenza, and the league finalist Perugia, who will make its full debut in the competition. Four wild cards were distributed: the European champions of Belogorie Belgorod (Russia),Noliko Maaseik (Belgium), Energy Investments Lugano (Switzerland), and Posojilnica Aich/Dob (Austria). The draw will take place on June 27 in Vienna. Macerata reached the final four of the competition three times, in 2002, 2007 and 2009, winning it on its debut in 2002 in Opole (Poland).
