Juan Manuel Gonzalez put pen to paper in favour of Verona. Considered to be one of the top emerging prospects in Europe, the Spaniard signed a long-term contract. Born in 1994 in Huelva, he was last in the CYL Palencia, a club of the Spanish federation which takes care of the top young talents of the country.
“I’ve heard a lot of good on Verona – said Gonzalez – Verona has a great sport and volleyball tradition. I know we will work our socks off here and that’s what I need, train, train and train to build my future”.
