Coached by Pino Lorizio (now at Castellana), Molfetta had had a go at promotion last year already but was stopped in the final by Castellana Grotte. They reached their target in their second consecutive final by sweeping Padova. Great satisfaction for Alessandro Giosa who made the double with last year’s promotion, his fourth overall (the other two with Taranto in 2000 and 2006).
The owner Giuseppe Vinella, President Carpinelli, sport director Bruno De Mori and coach Pino Lorizio, and everybody at the club would like to congratulate Molfetta on their achievement.
