Macerata’s Under 19 team, coached by Gianni Rosichini, became Italian champion thanks to their victory over Modena at the tie-break. Unfortunately, the Under 15 could not follow suit as they surrendered in the final against Segrate. Luigi Randazzo was named MVP of the U19 final.
“It’s been a very hard contest – said Rosichini on his ninth triumph at youth level – We did a great job of recovering from a situation that had become very tricky, especially psychologically”.
